09modules, one platform

Three modules cost nothing extra

This is the whole Vebex video conferencing platform for business on one page: nine modules, the price basis of each, the licence tier it needs and what it depends on. Team Chat, Video Messages and Screen Share come with a host licence. Webinars, Recording and Dial-in are billed by use. The real figure arrives in a written proposal, starting monthly.

3 included 3 billed by use 2 tied to tier 1 always on
Two colleagues in different places meet on one Vebex call
A workshop and a home office, one call. Both on the Meetings licence.

Virtual meeting platform pricing, by basis

What each is billed on

We publish the basis, not a figure, because the figure depends on numbers only you have: hosts, the size of your largest meeting, recorded hours and phone minutes. A basis you can check is worth more than a price that changes the moment your second webinar runs.

Tier is set by your largest meeting. Team up to 100 participants, Business up to 300, Large up to 500, Enterprise up to 1,000.

Tiers follow the meeting

One number sets the tier

Tell us the biggest meeting you run in a month. The licence follows from that number, not from headcount. A company of 900 people whose largest call is a 60-person all-hands is a Team customer. A company of 120 that runs a 450-person customer briefing every quarter is a Large customer for the hosts who run that briefing and nobody else.

That last part matters. Tiers are set per host. Your two people who run town halls can sit on Large while the other forty stay on Team. The mistake we see most is a blanket upgrade for every seat because of one event a quarter.

Work out your tier in the configurator
100Team. Daily standups, client calls, workshops with breakout rooms.
300Business. Department meetings and the admin console with SSO and audit log.
500Large. Large online meetings of 500 participants where everyone can unmute.
1,000Enterprise. The ceiling for an interactive meeting. Past that, use Webinars.

Dependencies

What leans on what

No module can be bought on its own except Meetings. Everything below hangs off a host licence, and three of them hang off a second module too.

  • WebinarsPanelists are Meetings hosts. Attendees come in blocks of 500 on top. A 1,500-person launch is three blocks plus however many panelists speak, usually two to five.
  • Screen Share and WhiteboardLives inside Meetings. The whiteboard canvas outlives the call and stays attached to the meeting page and its chat channel.
  • Recording and TranscriptsRecords Meetings and Webinars. Billed on what you keep, not what you record: a 30-day window with 40 hours of 1080p a month holds about 24 GB.
  • Dial-inAdds phone numbers to Meetings and Webinars. Dial-in is not a legacy feature. It is how the site foreman joins from a truck with one bar of signal.
  • Video MessagesPosts into Team Chat threads, so it needs channels to land in. Clips count toward recording storage only if you choose to retain them past 30 days.
  • Team ChatComes with every host licence. Guests invited to a channel do not need a licence and cannot start meetings.
  • Admin and SecurityIncluded from Business tier. SSO needs your identity provider; role-based permissions and the audit log work without one.
  • Integrations and APIEvery module emits webhook events. The REST API and calendar join links work on any tier; heavy API volume is priced in the proposal.

The nine, in plain terms

Who buys which module

01 · per host, per month

Meetings

The core online meeting software. Up to 49 tiles in gallery, 50 breakout rooms, a waiting room and an audio-first fallback that drops video before it drops a voice. Everyone who schedules calls needs a host licence. Everyone who only joins does not.

02 · per attendee block of 500

Webinars

A webinar platform for town halls, product launches and customer briefings. Panelists on camera, attendees watching, a moderated Q&A queue between them. If your largest event is under 100 people, you probably do not need this; a Meetings host with mute-on-entry does the job.

03 · included

Team Chat

Team messaging and video calls in one place. Channels, threads and files up to 2 GB. Any thread becomes a call with one button and the call’s notes land back in that thread.

04 · included with Meetings

Screen Share and Whiteboard

Screen sharing with a whiteboard. One window by default, the whole desktop only on purpose. Remote control needs the sharer to approve every request, every time.

05 · per retained GB

Recording and Transcripts

Cloud meeting recording with transcripts. Recordings are kept for 30 days unless you change it. One hour of 1080p is roughly 600 MB, 720p about 300 MB, audio-only around 30 MB.

06 · per PSTN minute

Dial-in

Video meeting software with dial-in and call-me. Field crews, clinics and anyone driving. Most teams underbuy this and find out when a regional manager drops off a quarterly call three times.

07 · included

Video Messages

Async video messages for teams. Clips up to 10 minutes, trimmed in the browser and posted into a thread. Replaces the fifteen-minute meeting that was really a two-minute update.

08 · from Business

Admin and Security

Secure video conferencing for companies that answer to an IT team: video conferencing with SSO, roles, retention policy and an audit log of every admin change.

09 · API calls included

Integrations and API

A video conferencing API with calendar join links, REST endpoints, webhooks for meeting events and an embeddable meeting view for your own app or patient portal.

Before you ask

The usual objections

Why no price list?

Because three of the nine modules are billed by use, and a list price for those tells you nothing until we know your recorded hours and phone minutes. The proposal states a figure per line and per month, and it holds for the term it names.

Can we start with Meetings only?

Yes. Team Chat, Video Messages and Screen Share arrive with it anyway. Add Recording or Dial-in later in the admin console; it shows on the next monthly invoice and nowhere else.

Is this a Zoom alternative for teams that already have one?

Often. Most of our customers moved from another tool after a bad quarter of dropped calls or an upgrade prompt that appeared in front of a client. We do not import old recordings; we do run both side by side during a pilot so nobody is stranded.

Who is this not for?

Teams under ten hosts with no compliance needs will get more value from a free plan elsewhere. Events above 1,000 interactive participants are past our ceiling. And if you need attention tracking, we do not build it.
