Data request
Ask for your record and name the date.
There is no account on this site, so the record is short: an inquiry you sent, a support chat you opened, a consent choice in your own browser. The panel below says who holds it and for how long. The form at the bottom of the page gets it exported, corrected or deleted within 7 days.
At a glance
Answered within 7 days
- Who holds it
- Ve Bex, trading at ve-bex.click, 167 Mill Street, Office 12, Austin, Texas 31098, United States. One company, no data broker in the chain, nothing sold to anyone.
- What there is to ask for
- An inquiry and its email copy, a support chat transcript, and the technical lines recorded with a form: IP address, user-agent, referring URL, the moment the page rendered and the moment it was sent. See the full list
- How long it is kept
- Inquiries and their email copies 24 months. Chat transcripts 12 months. Server and access logs 30 days. The record of a consent choice 6 months, in your browser under
site_consent_v2. - What you can demand
- A copy, a correction, a deletion, an opt-out of sale and sharing, and the withdrawal of consent for advertising and analytics storage. Under the GDPR, also portability and restriction. Read the rights
- How long it takes
- 7 days from the request landing in the inbox, including the awkward ones. A deletion is confirmed by email with the date it ran; we do not make you chase it.
- What it costs
- Nothing, and there is no limit on how often you ask. No account to log into, no identity service, no form that demands a scan of your passport.
- Who else sees the data
- The hosting provider that serves this site and stores the inquiry database, and the mail provider that carries the notification to [email protected]. Advertising measurement goes to Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, and only once you allow storage. Read how that works
- Where to complain
- Your state Attorney General, and in California the California Privacy Protection Agency. If you reached this site from Europe, your national data protection authority. Write to us first if you can stand to; it is faster.
- Where to send it
- [email protected], +1 (925) 555-2231, or the form on this page. A person in Austin reads all three.
01The five things you can ask for
US state privacy law governs this site, and California's CCPA and CPRA are the sharpest version of it. Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and the other state laws now in force give a visitor close to the same set. Where you reach this page from Europe, the GDPR sections of the privacy notice are written for you and add portability and restriction to the list.
- A copy. Everything the inquiry database holds under your name, email or phone number, sent as plain text with the field names intact. If there is nothing, we say so in a sentence rather than sending an empty file.
- A correction. A misspelled company, a phone number with a transposed digit, a job title that changed. Tell us the right value and it is edited, not appended.
- A deletion. The inquiry, the email copy and any chat transcript go. The only thing that survives is a one-line note that a deletion was made on a date, because we have to be able to show we did it.
- An opt-out of sale and sharing. Nothing here is sold. What we do is share conversion measurement with advertising platforms once storage is allowed, and this stops that for you.
- A withdrawal of consent. Press Cookie settings in the footer of any page and choose Decline. The four Consent Mode v2 signals go back to denied immediately and no request to us is needed.
An authorised agent can file on your behalf. Send the written authority with the request and we will deal with the agent and copy you, not the other way round.
02What this site actually holds
Worth being exact, because people picture a profile and there is no profile. No account, no password, no payment and no card data: nothing is sold on this site, so none of that exists to hand over.
| Record | Fields | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| An inquiry | Name, phone, email, address, the kind of inquiry, your message, the requested specification from the configurator, and the consent tick. Recorded with it: the IP address, the browser's user-agent string, the referring URL, the moment the form was rendered and the moment it was sent. | 24 months |
| A support chat | The conversation itself, whatever name, phone or email you typed into it, and a token kept in your browser so you can return to the thread after a reload. | 12 months |
| A request to the server | The access log line: IP address, user-agent, referring URL, the page asked for and the response code. Not consent-based, because a server that cannot log cannot be defended. | 30 days |
Your consent choice is the fourth thing and it never reaches us. It sits in your own browser under site_consent_v2 for 6 months, and clearing site data removes it along with every advertising cookie listed in the ledger. Nothing on this site reconstructs a cleared choice from the server side.
03What happens after you send the form
Same working day, usually within a few hours: an acknowledgement with a ticket number. That number is how the request is tracked and it is the only thing you need to quote if you call.
Within 7 days: the answer. For a copy, that is the export itself. For a correction, the edited record read back to you. For a deletion, the confirmation and the date it ran. If a request is genuinely ambiguous, we ask one clarifying question rather than sending the wrong thing, and the 7 days restart from your reply.
If the answer is that we hold nothing, you get that in a sentence. It happens more than you would think, because most people writing to us never sent an inquiry in the first place.
04How we check it is you
With one question, not a document. Write from the email address on the inquiry, or quote the phone number and the approximate date you sent it, and that matches the record well enough for a site with no accounts.
Where a request arrives from an address we have never seen and names someone we do hold a record for, we reply to the address in the record instead. That is the failure mode we protect against: a request is the easiest way to extract someone else's details, and sending an export to the wrong person is worse than being slow.
What we will not ask for: a scan of your driver's licence, a selfie, or an account on a verification service. If a deletion request cannot be matched to a record at all, we delete nothing and say so, because deleting a different person's inquiry is not a neutral act.
05Requests that go to someone else
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send paid clicks to this site every working day. With storage allowed, conversion measurement reaches Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, and each of them becomes responsible for what it holds. Microsoft's own handling is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement, and a request about what Microsoft keeps has to go to Microsoft. We will tell you what we sent and when, which is normally the useful half of the answer.
If you are a user of the meeting client rather than a visitor to this website, your recordings, transcripts and chat history sit in your employer's workspace. That workspace controls them, not us, and we act on its instructions under the agreement signed with its proposal. Ask your workspace administrator; they have the console and the retention setting. Recordings are kept for 30 days unless you change it.
No platform has reviewed, approved or verified this site, and nothing on it claims otherwise. The Global Privacy Control header is honoured as an opt-out from sale and sharing without asking you again.
06What we will refuse, and why
Two things. We will not delete the one-line note that a deletion happened, because that note is the proof the deletion ran. And we will not delete an inquiry while a proposal written from it is still in negotiation, unless you tell us to abandon the proposal as well, which we will then do in the same working day.
Everything else gets done. If you think a refusal is wrong, say so and a named person answers rather than the form. Then take it to your state Attorney General, or the California Privacy Protection Agency if you are in California, and we will cooperate with whatever they ask.
Send the request
Name the kind of request and the email or phone you used. That is enough to find the record.
Reading this before you buy, not after
Fair enough. The same procurement questions come up every week, and a call answers them faster than a document. Tell us the biggest meeting you run in a month and we will write the proposal around it.
